Welcome to East Craigdhu, a tiny hamlet of three houses perched on a viewpoint on the sunny side of Strathglass, overlooking the River Beauly, boasting the best views in the strath and highly appointed for the comfort and enjoyment of your small group of up twelve guests.
Goldfinch Retreats was created from a long-held ambition to share this quiet corner of the Highlands in a way that is thoughtful, sustainable, and rooted in place. Our aim is to run small-scale, low-impact retreats that celebrate the landscape, support local livelihoods, and are carefully managed by us as resident owners. By growing slowly and responsibly, we hope to create meaningful employment, work with local trades and producers, and offer guests the time and space to truly connect with the natural environment—ensuring that what we build here contributes positively to the area for the long term.
Details of our in-house retreats will be arriving in 2027.
